KEARSNEY EASTER RUGBY FESTIVAL
It was a wonderful expierence to serve at this rugby festival from 2-11 April 2023 at Kearsney College in Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal. The SCAS team comprised of sixteen volunteers from across South Africa and we served the Local Organizing Committee, twelve under eighteen rugby teams, and a Sharks Development Team. Our team made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. We had excellent opportunities to share the Gospel facilitate Discover Bible Studies (DBS), and engage individuals emotionally to build strong relationships.

"The Festival wouldn't be a success without the SCAS guys."
Waylon Murray (Director of Sport at Kearsney College)
"Thank you for the work you are doing for the schools. It's much appreciated."
Spectator and parent
"I facilitated a practical session called the spotlight effect. The goal is for everyone to get the chance to affirm and motivate one another to strengthen the team's brotherhood and unity. The results were evident. I leaped with joy to see the belief the boys showed by working hard and standing together to win their last match."
SCAS chaperone
U/18 SARU CRAVENWEEK
From 29June - 08July, SCAS will serve at the Cravenweek Rugby Tournament in George, the most prestigious schoolboy rugby tournament in South Africa. About 370 of the best players in South Africa will represent sixteen teams. We plan to send a SCAS Team of twenty volunteers who will do a training program before the tournament starts and then be placed with a team to serve them. Contact us if you are interested in getting involved as a chaperone!

CAMPS
Die Eiland Campsite and Outdoor Training Centre is situated in the Jonkershoek Valley outside Stellenbosch along the river and amongst majestic mountains. The campsite offers well-equipped facilities and is ideal to host camps for schools, youth, churches, family reunions, or other groups. SCAS can offer a variety of camps for small or large groups at Die Eiland or various selected partner campsites. Groups can choose between SCAS camps (with our program) or Self-catering camps (using their programs).
